Become A Friends of NRA Volunteer
When we say we have the best volunteers in the nation, we mean it. Friends of NRA volunteers are among the most dedicated, hard-working, and enthusiastic people in America. Whether our volunteers are selling banquet tickets, hanging flyers, working a game at the banquet, or seeking sponsorships and donations - they tackle every task with the knowledge that they are helping secure our Second Amendment freedoms for generations to come.
Year after year Friends of NRA volunteers have raised millions of dollars through their banquets for The NRA Foundation which has in turn generated countless local, state, and national grants for programs supporting youth shooting sports, range development, women’s instructional shooting, firearm safety courses, and hunter training seminars, among others. And they have fun doing it!
Every year, The NRA Foundation allocates half of all net proceeds to go back into the state in which it was raised, where Friends of NRA State Fund Committees decide on programs and projects to fund on the local and state levels.
State Fund Grants
The other half of funds raised at Friends of
NRA banquets is used to fund projects similiar
to those seen on the local and state levels but
with a national scope. These funds help sustain
over 180 NRA National Supported Programs
across the country.
