We had a terrific bunch of kids this year! They listened to instruction, paid attention and shot well. They were all safety conscious and seemed to have fun.
Thank you kids! Thanks to the many volunteers that helped out as well. We couldn't do this without you!
2023 Youth Day Shoot Postponed
To all those that help with, support, and participate in Kids Day at the Range:
Normally at this time we would be putting on the final touches and gathering together all the items for the event. However, this year hasn’t been a normal lead up to the event. Most significantly, our event Creator and Chairman, Ike Dolinar, had a significant medical situation arise for him a few weeks back and as part of that required him to undergo a procedure. Thankfully, that procedure went well and he is recovering a little bit more each day.
That said, after discussing it with him, and to help keep his recovery moving in the right direction, we have made the decision to postpone Kids Day at the Range this year. Ike has created a fantastic event for the benefit of the youth in our community, and this wasn’t an easy decision for him, but we felt it was the right decision at this time.
We look forward to putting together this event next year, and we appreciate all your understanding.
 Thank You.
Jeremy Cox, Slope Area Rifle & Pistol Club President
